Bellafill is ideal for those seeking a nonsurgical treatment to reduce their evident signs of aging. Bellafill is solely intended for those at least 21 years of age who wish to eliminate or reduce the appearance of laugh lines, wrinkles, and/or acne scars. If you have a sensitivity to lidocaine or bovine (cow) collagen, Bellafill is likely not the best option for you. Additionally, Bellafill should not be performed on patients who are currently pregnant.

Prior to your injection, The Med Spa of North Texas team will consult with you to learn more about your cosmetic goals and then decide which product will help you reach them. At the time of the procedure, we will apply numbing cream as a local anesthetic to ease the discomfort of the injection. They will determine how much is needed and gradually inject it through a fine needle. Depending on the desired outcome, varying amounts of anesthetic may be used. Injectable fillers are done as an in-office procedure and don't take long to complete. Due to the use of an anesthetic, the process is relatively painless and does not require much recovery time. There may be some swelling and bruising immediately after your session, but these symptoms should fade away within a few days. Results typically last from three months to a year based on the product and the area of injection. Touch-ups may be needed occasionally to maintain your results.
